House Fire on Pealiquor Road

Companies 300, 200 and 600 were dispatched at 0240 hrs for the Structure Fire on Pealiquor Road. E302 responded with 4 and arrived on the scene to find a one-story detached home with fire showing on side C. E302's crew made entry to find the house well involved with fire and made an aggressive interior attack. Tower 310 and Tanker 306 arrived and Officer 320 (Frankhouser) took command. The truck crew pulled a second line to side C to extinguish fire on the rear of the house. Command called for an additional three engine companies due to the large volume of fire. Engines from companies 400, 100 and 700 responded. Crews from station 200 & 400 arrived and assisted with knocking fire down in the attic. 100 & 700 arrived and assisted with extensive overhaul. The fire was placed under control in about one hour. Units worked on the scene for an additional hour. The Denton volunteers send appreciation to all the mutual aid companies for their assistance, great job by all.
