DVFC Mourns the loss of Company Fire Chaplain

The Denton Volunteer Fire Company regretfully announces the passing of Fire Chaplain William "Bill" C. Davis Sr.

Chaplain Davis has served the company most recently as Fire Chaplain, however in earlier years "Bill" served as a firefighter in the company.  Bill was a member of the local police force where he served the community for twenty years as a police officer, the last 16 as Chief of Police.  He then went to work at the Caroline County Sheriff's Office where he was currently serving at the rank of Sergeant.

Funeral Services will be held 2 p.m. on Sunday, July 7 at the Calvary Baptist Church in Denton.  Friends may call from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Saturday evening at the Moore Funeral Home in Denton.  Please see www.moorefuneralhomepa.com for more information.
