On Saturday evening, as crews were returning from the Choptank River incident, DVFC was again alerted for a serious MVC on Rt. 328 near the Asbury community. Crews were still at the firehouse from the last run and were able to respond very quickly. Rescue 300, Engine 304, Engine 302, Ambulance 392, Chief 300 and Talbot county PM 96 responded. While crews were enroute to the scene, Caroline advised units that there was a single vehicle off the roadway on its roof and it had struck a utility pole. Engine 304 arrived on location and Firefighter Bobby Mullikin advised one patient laying beside the vehicle, with no entrapment. Chief Dennis Porter (315) arrived and took command. All crews helped with patient care and packaging of the patient. Ambulance 392 transported 1 patient priority 2 to Easton Memorial hospital. Crews cleaned up and were released from scene.
