On Saturday June 8th, 1230hrs: DVFC had just opened the doors to the 3rd Annual Gun Bash, when station 300 was alerted for an MVC on Legion Rd with injuries. Members immediately responded with Rescue 300, Ambulance 392 and PM13. Rescue 300 arrived to find that 2 vehicles had collided in the Walmart parking lot. Asst. Chief Sefton (317) took command. Rescue 300 crew had to pop the passenger side door of one vehicle and all other crews assisted with patient care and patient packaging. 1 adult and 1 child were transported by Ambulance 392 BLS and PM 13 also transported 1 adult and 1 child BLS . All patients were transported by ground to Easton Memorial hospital with minor injuries. Asst. Chief Sefton placed the situation under control and cancelled command. Rescue 300 crew cleaned up and returned back to the firehouse safely and promptly to get back to work helping with the Gun Bash.
