Motor Vehicle Collision Shore Highway/Greenwood Rd.

On Monday, May 13 2013, Denton volunteers were alerted around 4:30 in the afternoon for an MVC, reported serious with possible entraptment. Rescue 300, Engine 304, PM13, EMS 3 and Ambulance 392 responded to the scene. EMS 3 went on scene with 2 vehicles involved, but no entraptment; also advising to start the medavac which was later cancelled due to response time. Rescue 300 arrived on scene and Captain Berneski (319) assumed Shore Hwy command. All crews on scene went to work wiith patient care and packaging of 2 victims, who were transported to Delaware Trauma Center. Rescue 300 crew cleaned up the scene and afterwards returned to quarters.
