At 1441 hours, Station(s) 300, 400 and 600 were alerted for a vehicle on fire with exposures to a house. Units from Station 300 were responding within 4 minutes of recieving the alarm. Ambulance 392 was first arriving and confirmed a working fire. Engine 302 (4/Higgs) arrived shortly after and advised a single story wood frame with fire showing from an attached garage with extension to the house. The crew of 302 quickly advanced an attack line to the interior of the structure and cut off the fire in the kitchen area. The crew(s) of Tower 310 and Engine 304 arrived and pulled a second handline and assisted with fire attack. The fire was quickly brought under control. Units from Sta(s) 600, 400, and 80 assisted with overhaul. Red Cross was contacted to assist the occupants displaced by the fire. The cause of the fire is under investigation by the office of the State Fire Marshal.
