Multiple Alarm Commercial Building Fire - 24000 Block Meeting House Road

Denton, Ridgely, Queen Anne Hillsboro, and Talbot County Tower 61 (Easton) VFC's were put to work early this morning just prior to 6:00am at a Buildng Fire in the 24000 block of Meeting House Road. PM391 arrived to find heavy smoke showing from the Old Mullholland Harper building. Engine 302 (4/ Berneski) arrived to find fire conditions in the B/C corner of the building and began stretching a 500 foot attack line inside. Chief 3 (D/C Porter) arrived and assumed command. A second alarm was requested bring Cordova and Greensboro VFC to the scene. Crews made an aggressive knock on the fire on the inside of the building, however had extended time overhauling the roof. Units cleared at 0920. The cause of the fire is under investigation by the State Fire Marshal's office.
